First Repairs on 2011 F350
End of July and truck had CEL come on at just under 58000 mile mark. Made appointment with Katy Autonation Ford here in Houston since they are close to my office. Turns out had EGT sensor fail, while in shop had cracked windshield replaced, oil change, fuel filters, coolant check, and tire rotation services done. Also got both power fold mirrors replaced under warranty since they had been acting erratic and often need assist by hand to work properly. The service tech also noticed what he said was an engine tick while in shop and replaced EGR hose to correct. All of the work and what rep said the parts would of cost have more than paid for my extended warranty, glad I got that when I bought, replacement parts on our trucks come with a big price tag. Was hard to go with out my girl for the week, but well worth the $270 out of my pocket to have her back looking and running as good as new again.
