I've read the sticky and have searched the threads on mirrors but I was curious on how the 67-72 western jr mirrors fit the doors of a 61-66 I need some mirrors for my 4x4 and the 5" round mirrors seem like they'd be useless on a big truck. If anyone has pictures of them on a slick that'd be great.
Original Ford Swing locks.
Because of the difference in the contour of the doors from 66 to 67 the mirror would be tilted in at the bottom.(66 bracket stands-off further away from door at bottom) Looks like crap on a white horse.
You can find them used on Ebay (for the 61-66) but they still command a pretty good price.
The only reason I thought of the 67-72 style is because they seem much easier to find. I've never seen the correct 61-66 style before yours, at the same time im trying not to spend a fortune on mirrors as well.
Thanks again

I know what you mean. I had a NOS set like the pair on my truck now about 2-3 years ago. Work got slow. Needed cash. And sold them on Ebay for 500.00 +.
2 months ago I was plunkin-round on the net and found these new in box for 150.00 on Craigslist in another state. Pure chance.
One of the option I would have gone with are the **** 47500 Junior West Coast Mirrors. Can get them on eBay for about 50-60 for the pair. They look much better than the 1980's swing aways.

Hello, I'm from Ecuador and I'm interested on buying this type of mirror for my FORD 350. Do you know where I can find it?
Thanks for your support.
I might have a used set if that interests you. I have no idea what shipping from Canada would be though. I can't pm you so maybe you can private message me and send your email so I can send pictures. , Doug.
