Cleaning up the wiring under the hood and dash today. Been cruising around the site what a great Forum!
Interesting truck haven't seen anyone do that with the front end before. Are the parallel lines on the bumper welded in? or are they just the bumper itself where they didn't cut? Welcome to the forum. going over and cleaning up previous owners wiring seems to be a common fix on these trucks.

They built brackets, welded the tubing to the brackets and fastened with screws to the grill frame. The bumper portion is done in a similar manner. The wiring had some real Hokie splices, haven't tackled the dash yet...

I'm rewiring the dash on my 64 right now. I also had some "hokie splices". It sure is fun. Are you buying a new harness? I didn't want to spend the 4 bills they cost, so I bought a used one (cheap). I'm mostly using it as a guide when I can't figure out what should go where. An ohm meter sure comes in handy, too.

I will build my own harness later this year, less cost and a lot more fun!
Hey everyone! Dropped out for a while; Dad was sick and passed on... Moving forward with the '64' . Gangstakr I'll get the pics of the grille posted. Have a CV front suspension swap to do, and the 4 link / coil overs for the rear. I will post pics and comments as we move forward...
