I want to try and make a new metal bezel or front mounting plate to fit my 71. Can someone take some measurements of the stock bezel, including the tops and sides? Sort of like unfolding a box, there would be the middle piece (where radio mounts), plus top, bottom left and right sides. Sides would be sort of pie shaped.

I let someone in need have my bezel as I figures I'd run across another, but been looking for two years and haven't found one. Plus this would let me cut the whole the exact size to fit the radio I want to use.

Any help wold be appreciated.

 

Are you just looking for a replacement bezel, or looking to install an aftermarket radio??

 

I was thinking about making a new metal bezel to mount an aftermarket radio. I don't like the plastic volvo piece some are using. I could probably go to the salvage yard and get a used one for $5, but was wanting to try something new.
