Ok so I own a stockland sebring camper shell and it has that rubber boot that sits against the cab....I don't like those and would like to replace with an actual slider window. Research has shown me that stockland is no longer in business.
Anyways i'd imagine my best bet would be to hit up a camper shell dealer and see what they could do for me? Any other places I could talk too?
Went to a couple places today, basically I was told they can't get a window because for the rubber boots the hole is usually cut larger and I am probably gonna have to get something custom made.
I worked for a topper mfg. years ago delivering product across the US. We never cut the opening larger as most folks never used the window opening for a crawl thru…
I'd take some measurements…
hehr is just one outfit who makes these window… do a Google search and give some companies a call… I'm sure you can find what you need.
I had a Leer cap with the rubber boot. I did away with it and the opening was MUCH larger than a window opening. I had a local glass guy Urathane in a piece of plexiglass
