Hey guys it seems that every time I drive my truck the gauges and stereo cut out randomly. When this happens it lasts anywhere between 10 sec- 5 min then they turn back on. During this power loss the windows, stereo, and all of the gauges do not work. My headlights, turn signals and indicator arrows, hi beam indicator, the backlight for the gauges, heater and A/C, TBC, all still work during the power loss. Any ideas? Would anyone know what to check or what fuse to look for? The truck's performance is not affected when this happens, by the way. Thanks in advance!
Relay in guage panel is going bad. There are places that can rebuild it for about $150 plus shipping. I had the same problem last month. I just ordered a refurbished from Ebay for About $110.
You can do refurbished but your odometer will not be right. By sending it out to be fixed they use upgraded parts and your odometer will still show the correct mileage. These are the guys I looked into but because I am in Alaska it was going to cost more in shipping than repai to get it back in a timely manner 2005-07 Ford Super Duty Instrument Cluster Repair | CBM
