MISS FIRE CODES! OBDII HELP!!!
Hello all!!! I'm pulling my hair out with this truck if its not 1 code its another! 1996 F150 4.9L 5-speed. The ring on the balancer "96 only" broke, and it broke the crank sensor as well. I replaced the sensor and installed a brand new balancer with ring "96 only" now I get 2 misfire codes. P0302-P0305. The engine is new only has 11,000 miles on it. It drives perfectly fine and has no misfire symptoms. Plugs wires cap rotor all new and distributor was replaced also. I drive the truck everyday to work 20 miles there and back in 5th gear with the AC on. It has no power issues just this stupid light blinking at times and 2 codes. I don't get it? Could it be a bad crank sensor? Looked inside the distributor and it looks nice and new. All plugs look like they are nice and clean burning normal. Please help....I highly dought its internally in the engine. The oil is fine so no indication of a blown head gasket. runs at 210 in 115 degree heat....HELP!!!
