2012 Ford F250 Navigation System
However, having said that, incorrect directions, unable to find POIs, unable to find addresses, that depends on what they (Ford) has a allowed for coverage in the area that you are going to be in.
I have had those issues with Alicia's Garmin and I can easily see those being issues, but those can be issues with any nav system that is based off of some type of stored map medium, rather then getting that info from the internet or directly from the satellites. You have you remember that all the vehicle companies and other nav producing companies also want to get your money through updates. Can't do that if they have everything up to date. Some areas don't go through a whole lot of change, so not many people are going to update unless they do a lot of traveling to areas that do.
my biggest nav complaint is really the screen brightness at night on a long dark country road.. the Panasonic I put in my 08 was on unless the unit was turned off (and then hands free doesn't work, etc..) the ford unit is easy to dim at least.
And I don't own an F series pickup. I own an 05 Excursion.
In my attempt to find a company that DOES use FORD take out Nav systems and then works their magic on them.
While they DO NOT fit my Excursion, they DO have several options for the later F250/350 trucks.
I have one of the OEMAUTOPARTSCO radios in my Dodge Magnum and it's everything and a bag of chips.
Ford Factory Radios & GPS Navigation Upgrades
That's the company my Dodge Nav system came from it it's great.

I have NOT done any business with these guys, but they offer pretty much the same thing.
