wife NEEDS an exploder, wants a sohc/5sp auto, but not willing to pay for one. how has the 5.0/4sp auto worked for anyone? i've always questioned the 4sp auto's dependability/longevity, and wonder if it is the same trans behind the 4.0 too. found a '98 with 110xxx miles for $7, good shape. want the dirt on this rig!! i appreciate any responses!
