I have to change the valve cover gasgets. I was planning on changing the 2 gasgets and the fuel injection gasget. My uncle says that I don't need to buy the gasgets and that I can just use good silicone.
Does it make a differance?
If you plan to keep the truck forever, buy the kind which are made of metal and have a rubber rib on them. They not only make a permanent seal, they are reusable! I have them on my 88 F150 and my Mustang.
