60K Maintenance for DIY

My expy just rolled over 60K and I got a reminder from Carpoint on the 60K service. They estimated $1048 for it to be serviced and I think I can do a lot of that myself. I have already changed the air filter, oil and oil filter. What else on the list is easily done by the normal person without spoecialty tools?

Also, I have read some posts on here that suggest the spark plugs don't need to be replaced yet. Is that true, also there seems to be something that is difficult about changing the spark plugs. What is the difficulty with changing them?

Thanks for any information.

Whatever you feel comfortable doing, i.e. fuel filter (do need a $5 tool), anti-freeze, differential, transmission, transfer case fluids, etc.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The difficulty is access. These engines sit so far back into the cab, it is hard to reach all the plugs. Plus the fuel rails interfere.

Thanks for any information.
