F100/F250/F350 frame and suspension

I have a 1977 F100 with the twin i beam suspension... I need info on 70s ford truck frames.
I have never ridden in a F100 so i dont know how it rides. I also want a little more height to the F100 and since its a 2wd lift kits are pretty expensive and scarce. I dont want anything to big, just a more aggressive stance like a highboy would have. Would f-150-350 frames and suspension be interchangable with the F100 frames in regards to body mounting and such. Thanks-Cole

They all will interchange as long as the wheelbase is the same. But that's an awful lot of work for basically no benefit. The F100-250 2WD will all have close to the same ride height.
Plus, if you change frames, in most states, you'll be required to change the registration to match the new frame. So you'll need to get a title with the replacement frame.

Thanks for the info, i def wont be changing frames anymore but is there anything i can do to level the truck? And while i have the body off i want to upgrade the suspension, any recommendation on shocks etc...just for a smoother ride?

I personally like to use hydraulic shocks instead of gas shocks. Rancho 5000s are fairly cheap and work well. I am sure just about any of them are comparable.
