C-6 Shifting Problems
My tranny will not go into gear after it has been sitting i.e. overnight or afternoon, I have to rev it up for about 10 minutes and then pow it goes into gear. It shifts fine after that. But if I stop somewhere for longer than 30 minutes I have to start over. It probably needs a rebuild, but is there anything I can do to be sure I need a rebuild? Could it be a modulator or valvebody problem? Please help!!!!!

Agree, I lived with this problem for a year before I had it rebuilt ('73 w/390, 200,000 miles). In the winter it would take about 15 minutes to finally clunk into gear. Summer about 10.....Van
