^^^ He is right. New F150s only have one transmission... Manuals are hard to come by nowadays.
Older F-150s had manuals, but I dont think any had six speeds (correct me if im wrong)
We need a bit more info. Are you looking to trade from your Ranger to a F-150? If so, what year range? All F-150 models have pros and cons

Don't have to money for a new one. I have a 01 ranger which had a 4 speed. Don't want a manual, wife has to be able to drive it in an emergency.
I just want to make a decision if the 6-speed is the big whoop everyone who has one say it is. Gas mileage up 1 mpg (big deal). I don't do alot of towing, but looking to get a camper down the road that I will pull maybe 2-3 times a year.
Just need to get a bigger truck for the bigger family, that I can take hunting, and on trips up in the Smokey Mountains.
Pretty much a SC with 4wd XLT or better, just can decide if I such spend extra and get a 6-speed or go with a 07-08 with an 4 speed.

That how I am leaning, I am trying to get my payment as low as possible, without settling. Settling is how I ended up with a keyboard for Christmas one year instead of the guitar I wanted.
Folks with the 6-speed say "aww it is great on acceleration and getting stuff moving..." but I am not drag racing nor towing my house around with me to different jobs as my Nuke welder buddy used to do.
Forums are a damn good place to think out loud and come to a good decision about stuff.
