"02" F250 Speedometer/odometer not working
Ok I have a 2002 F250 4X4 and as I was driving down a dirt road the speedometer went to 0 mph and the digital odometer stayed at 9799.0 miles. Also the check engine light came up. The tach still shows engine speed and all other gages look good. Any body have any ideas on what is wrong?
I would take it to the shop to get an answer but I live in a remote part of Alaska and have another week before I can get to a shop. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I did not notice if the overdrive light flashed.
