Warranty question
I have a 2000 F350 CC 4x2 and have been working with a particular dealership trying to fix my "thumping under the floor" problem that has been discussed on this website several times.
It was in two times just before the warranty expired and the dealer was not able to fix it either time. Now it is just out of warranty, but I feel that they are still responsible for fixing the problem. I know if I take it back that they will try to fix it, since it was reported before the warranty expired.
What I would like to do is have another dealer try his hand at fixing it, but I wonder if this will muddy the waters (paper trail). Hopefully some of you have had this kind of experience and can lead me in the right direction.
Thanks

Warranty question
As long as you have the paperwork from the other dealership, they will still take care of it. I have done the same things with my sisters Jeep. As long as the paperwork shows that it was still under warranty, and that they didn't fix it, and you take it to another Ford authorized dealer, there should be no problem.
