Here's an interior shot of my '79 before I picked it up a few weeks ago. I removed the steering wheel cover since and Scotchguarded the plaid fabric seat panels. But, everything is original/as new, as stated, even the AM mono radio. Still trying to determine what I want to do about that. I know there are a couple of retro looking, exact-fit (?) stereos I can buy to provide FM, iPod input, and even Bluetooth. I'm just not sure I need it. I've got used to listening to sports radio going to/from work each day, playing through the top dash-mounted speaker. Crackling and all.
On a truck that nice I would do a console with stereo and speakers in it and not touch any of the factory stuff. You could also do a plug of some sort so you could just quickly remove it if you wanted.
