Honestly I bought the V10 with the intentions of a conversion but I'm enjoying it as it is right now. It's nice and quiet and has a good sound when you put your foot into it.
Obviously the mpg is a joke, but I bought it in lieu of the school bus the mrs really wanted and it's meant for road trips with our friends.
So far everyone that has sat in it has been very impressed. There's tons of room, it's easy to get in and out of for mobility impaired people, you feel nice and safe riding in it, plenty of cup holders and power outlets etc,. etc,.
It gets lots of compliments followed by a gasp when we talk filling it up
Lol yeah i know about the conversations on cost of fill up and capacity but i only live 3.5 miles from work one way so im only driving 7 miles to and from work so with all my little driving i do and its my daily driver i can make a full tank last me a month just about so rite now im loving it.

Word on the street is that welding up some mounts is very easy and saves you a good chunk of $$$$$
Even if you don't have welding skills to have it made should be much cheaper.
Well it's been a long time a coming but I finally have gathered enough parts to start this project when I bought her it was 2002 ford excursion 2we auto with the 5.4 liter. So over the years I been buying and buying and stacking parts to convert this to my dream rig. I always wanted to do cummins swap in a Ford. So I purchased a used engine on the Cummins forum from a member. Now I needed to rebuild the engine it had over 200k it and the rear cylinder look like it melted or was damaged so I sent it to the machine shop bored it 20 over and checked all the measurements and everything else was within spec. Now I was going to recondition the cylinder head but I ended up selling it and just decided to but a fresh new all decked and new valve guides seal was all ready to go, I switched out the stock valve springs for hamil tom. So I bought all new everything st that point below is a list of doing im doing. Then I was like I need to lift it and run 37s
