Old blue continued

I finally got the frame back from the powder coaters and I am pretty impressed with how it turned out, spent the weekend putting it all back together and so far so good.

Front suspension installed

Frame and front/rear suspensions

That looks really good/clean, back of rear spring shackle appears high? will this rub when the box is on? I have the same rear setup and im wondering if this will be an issue?

What is the frame height from the bottom to the ground at the front axle and the total outside measurement with the Mustang offset wheels ?

I'm thinking of the CV swap myself just trying to get all my facts together and as much info as I can before I flip the switch

Mike, I notched the rear bed support and it just clears, I only cut the back of the channel I didn't need to cut the entire thing.

The clearance right now is 10" to the bottom of the crossmember without the motor in place and the outside measurement on the wheels is 73" with a 45 offset, I got all my info gathered up for several months before I decided to tackle it as well.

Lookin' good! I like the Mustang rims. Are you going to keep them? I noticed that you don't have them on the back.

I am looking at some custom wheels since I have to match two different lug patterns, I have also thought about using spacers to get the bolt pattern matched up and then using some GT wheels, I haven't read too many good things about the spacers though so if anyone out there can shed some light on that idea...... It will be greatly appreciated

I have heard of a few guys that have had the rear axle flanges redrilled to the 4.50 bolt pattern to match the front .

I installed the spacers on the back am happy with them. I bought them from Summit Racing. Very well machined and came with new lug nuts. That being said, they didn't widen the rear enough for me. I'm probably only going to keep them on for a couple of months until I get the time to install the CV rear suspension on her.

The tank is an F28d you can get it online in many different places for about $100, I want to say the year was a 1970. Kentucky Mustang sells them also

This weekend has been productive, fuel lines run along with wiring and all the rear brake lines hooked up, the crown vic sway bar is in and the front flex lines to the calipers are run and brackets mounted to the frame.

I felt energetic and decided to set the motor in place to see how things are going to line up. Better than expected, I have to swap out the oil pan for a rear sump.

Oil filter will need to be relocated.
