First let me apologize if I offended anyone, but after my post being up for 48 hours with 222 views and not a single answer to my questions while all other posts before and after mine were getting responses almost immediately, I must have violated some rule! Sorry!
I have purchased a single owner truck with great history in daily driver condition for a low price and am excited about bringing it back to new condition. I would like it very much if some of the experts could please decode the vin plate.
Most of it is self explanatory but I would like verification.
Vin# F25COK54194 WB 118. Color M, Model F250, Date 17F, Trans F, Axle OD,
GVW 7400, HP 146 @ RPM 3800, DSO 2381
Thank you, Ed in co.
Don't think anyone has been offended... at least not me! There are a only few people here that are good with the vin numbers, but maybe they are out for the weekend enjoying themselves. I'm sure someone will be by soon.
Yes, the real VIN guys are not on line now but they will be. Don't read into things so much. In your previous post, you gave us a lot of info and background about the truck, while very cool stuff, I really didn't have anything to comment about. Hope you enjoy your truck. There is a huge amount of info here which can be accessed thru the search feature if you don't get the responses you need.
Thank you gentelmen for your kind responses! I followed your advise and used the search mode and found my answers! A locker 4:56 rear end explains it screaming at 55 mph.
thanks again for the help
orphan fords are the bomb!
