This will be a short thread... I just need to know if anyone can tell if new F-250/F-350 8 lug rims will fit the older trucks lug pattern or if they're off. I can buy some new Lariat rims for $350 but I need to know first... Any inquiries will help. Thank you, Jerry
Jerry,
Don't give up! I install a set of these wheels on my 1989 F350 CC over 2 years ago. The shop I bought them from somehow machined the holes holes to fit the old bolt pattern. I have yet to see any kind of modification to the wheel. I wouldn't hestiate to do it again. It was about $300 modified and installed.
I see you are in Corona. L&C Tire (714) 974-1211. It is a little shack in Orange, on Lincoln Avenue, near Batavia, right next store to a rental yard.

Oh cool, thanx... I think I know the shop you're talking about. I used to get gas at the Chevron station there on the corner. Thanks a lot man... Jerry
They prob drilled the holes
I have a set of 96 or 97 F-150 XL wheels on my 66.... They didnt fit exactly, so I drilled the holes out, used the lugnuts that came w/ the wheels (kinda w/ like a washer made on them)
and had no problems
Drilling the holes out a bit isn't recommended but its been done.
I wouldnt hesitate to do it, especially on 8 lug wheels
