I think this is a good company but the one I ordered did not fit for some reason. I sent it back and am waiting to hear results. The old balancer was bad and so the story goes on. I was wondering if anyone else had this kind of trouble?? I used a balancer installer from NAPA and it broke the forcing screw in half. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong or this a case of need for more machine work??

Have not put one on a 7.3 but have used two myself on SBF's and installed more when working at a speed shop. No idea why you had issues but they should take care of you.

What was the part number of the damper? I used a little antiseize on the crank and damper surfaces when I installed mine. I used a MAC Tools installer.
