Harmonic Balancer
Had my harmonic balancer replaced on January 31st. This happened on Tuesday.

(it is right behind the harmonic balancer as it goes back into the engine.)
Would this be a product of wear, faulty part, or faulty installation? I had a shop do the work and buy the parts. I am wanting to know I guess, if the shop is at fault and I should eat the money and replace it again myself, or argue with the shop and get them to do it again.
Seems every time I let a shop do the work something else goes wrong.
If they won't for the time that has gone buy then your stuck
I'm not sure what all you are referring to about the problem from the post and photo.
I see a crack but you need to look close to see if there is anything that would have caused it like forcing it on etc.
.
Your lucky in a way, one guy can't get a good shop and motor replaced without big big issues. Poor rebuilds and poor workmanship quality etc.
Good luck.
