Trans swap
Hey all,
So I have an 88 F250 with and efi 460. I am looking to put a c6 behind it from an 80 351m. What will I need aside a new fly wheel?
I am also looking at a borg warner tc from behind a c4, is that going to be compatible with the c6?

the C6 will bolt rite up. you will need a 460 auto trans flex plate.
you will also have to extend the wires from the clutch interuptor switch to the neutral safety switch. and drill new holes in the frame for the cross member. pull the manual steering column, and pop an automatic column in.also hook up the shift linkage. cover the shifter hole in the floor. other than that it is an easy swap.
it took me 3 days to do the whole thing on my 89 diesel.
