Yeah that shotgun would be fun to play with, in small doses.

I'm a bit masochistic when it comes to shotguns...My dad had an old single-shot 12 ga with a full choke barrel, no recoil pad. I'd shoot round after round out of that thing, all day long. Got pretty good with it too. He recently had it reworked and a butt pad added and I now refuse to touch it, it ain't the same gun anymore, plus the two or so inches of butt pad changed the length of pull which had been simply amazing.

I'm ready for it to cool off a bit and get some more trigger time in.

Matt, Glad you got the glock back.

I'm working on getting in on a bear hunt this fall. Hope I can make it happen. I'll keep y'all posted.

Bow season is right around the corner. Getting lots of deer but not many bucks right now. I was really hoping to stick a big buck in velvet this season.

Also have a few coyotes coming around as well as fox, coon, and possum.

Looking forward to all the hunting coming up.

Got a couple parts cerakoted on the G30, got an extended slide release and slide lock for the 21, and finally found the cutting tool for my extended magazine release on the lone wolf website again...Now to get up $125 so I can finally bring the 30 to the place I imagined it lol.

So my 12ga pump kind of let me down this past weekend. Yeah we got some birds but it wasn't reliable. It's been problematic since I've had it. But I've worked on it and kept trying to make the best of it. And for what I mainly use it for, shooting deer with slugs, it works sufficient enough. But for bird and trap it's not up to the task.

So I'm in the market for a new, used semi-auto 12ga. I've been looking hard at the Beretta a300. Gets good reviews. I've held one and it's light and feels good. Does anyone have a used semi-auto they are thinking about selling? I don't have a big budget or I'd have a new browning sitting in the safe.

I've never been real big on semi auto shotguns...I've always stuck with pump. However the berettas do seem to be really nice, I've handled a few but never shot any. James, do you have a Facebook? There is a piedmont gun exchange page and I think there may be a couple semis on it.

I've managed to get me a box of 225 rounds for Tim's .22 rifle on a craigslist ad. A box of target 38 specials (Target rounds) that I got on sale a couple of years ago for like $9.
During our move, I've started a small pile of targets for the next time we get to go shooting. So far I have an old Pioneer Reverb Amp that doesn't work, a color printer, and monitor that have all quit at about the same time. I say they need to die from gun shots.

Ok boy's, the weather is cooling down. So when are we going to do our target shooting extravaganza
I have a laptop (James is to think for that idea), 2 Satelite dish's (just the round backs) a color printer, stereo piece, and a few other odd and ends, or do we not want to drag a mess of stuff out to Matt's family's property
Now time to snag more 9mm rounds.

Good lord, I been busy (and feels like I ain't done a thing). I'm game when y'all are, I have most saturdays free at this point (this is my last week with two of the three security companies I have been working).

Actually wound up trading that G21 for a G37 in 45 GAP, and I must say I am rather enjoying the round dubbed as "Glock's Failure". Being the smaller guy I am the 9mm frame size fits my hand that much better, and it's still the same ballistics with a shorter cartridge.

Do we want to try to combine a shoot with the bonfire? Show up early enough to empty some mags then cook out and camp? Just a thought.
