Front Seats

I just bought a 1984 BroncoII and the front seats are in bad shape. Has any one tried to use Explorer seats as a retro fit, can it be done easily?

Earily Explorers used BII seats.

Front Seats

Aerostar front seats will work if you use the Bronco II floor brackets.

Front Seats

I just pulled a pair of Escort GT seats from the junkyard and put them in my bronco 2...they are nice seats but they sit real whihg because of the head rest(which really isn't that comfy anyway) I started looking at my other seats (out of an aerostar) and decided they look a lot better and felt better so I threw those back in. I also noticed the bolts mounting the base to the floor in the escort were smaller than the B2's bolts..maybe its a sign of the seats durability..who knows?? But they do fit..I think alot of ford seats circa 84-89 will the bronco 2 seat base.

Front Seats

I will always sing the praises of newer Mustang seats. I had 97 Mustang GT seats in my Nissan hardbody, and loved them. Dont exactly know what modifications will need to be made but the seats are easy to reconfigure, I even had the power seats working. I used my origanal seat brackets bolted on to the bottom of the donor seats. I am currently looking for burgandy seats out of the afore mentioned Mustang. If I find them I will post the fabrication results. Good luck with it.
