The problem with adapting such a new engine to an older car is that it has a lot of integration to other subsystems in the car, such as the transmission and at least the cruise control. So you can't swap over just the engine. But I'm sure some industrious person has, as I've seen classic Mustangs using Ford's Coyote engine.
