2014 6.7

got myself a 2014 powerstroke. only have 48 miles on her. I was wondering what a good website would be for a egr delete and a dpf delete gonna keep them on for awhile. and also how often the truck goes into regeneration. crazy how different the 6.7 is compared to the 6.0.

Cant answer the best place for the deletes but for the regen there are two types.

Passive and active.

Passive is where there is enough heat to burn the soot off on its own. Usually when towing.

Active is when you see the message "cleaning exhaust filter" come across the message center.

How often an active cycle occurs will vary a lot depending upon your drive cycle, fuel quality and traffic.

I would expect you to regen anywhere from a few hundred miles up to 1K.

Read the tech folder and your diesel supplement as well.

congrats on the new ride.

For the delete kits a lot of people use h&s mini max tuner. I think they use a dealer called spe but notfor sure on the name.

I plan on keeping it stock till the warranty is up. I dont want to chip it just want it to breathe clean air. Is the egr on these as bad as the 6.0. I guess thats my main concern. Did a lot to my 05 to make it reliable, is a stock 6.7 reliable with egr and stuff on it.

Stock 6.7 has a really good track record. So far my 2013 has been flawless. I have owned for 10 months and just under 10K miles.

I have a 2011 with 61k miles. I have the leaky radiator and just popped the hose going into my intake from the charged air cooler. I believe the 6.7 is a solid motor
