Dead Miss
Hello, first a background on the truck, it is a 1998 f-150 4x4 with the 4.6 w code engine automatic, the problem started with the CEL on for egr problems, i have replaced almost the entire egr system, egr valve, valve control solenoid, egr tube, dpfe, took off the intake elbow and cleaned the ports out on it and this is when it started. CEL is no longer on and no codes but now i have a dead miss in the engine on left bank (sitting in drivers seat) try to move it it gets worse, no steam like from blown head gasket, wo water in oil/oil in water no overheating, just all at once is misses something fierce. any ideas?? also changed out the idle air control and throttle position sensor a while back. all components were for genuine parts no autozone or advance parts. and I am stumped.
