09 plugs any issues?

So its getting close to plug changing time and I know there have been some pretty bad issues in the past but as I recall all the plug issues were resolved in like the 08 models is that correct?

Is there any special consideration needed in doing a plug change on my 09?

I'm just a bit concerned since I was debating doing this Monday but I have a big vacation next week planned and want to head out of state the next day. Breaking plugs the day before would really mess up my plans. I just might wait to do them afterward anyhow, but I'm really curious if they may be the cause of my poor mileage this year. I put new tires (GY Duratrac) on it which I think is the culprit, but just not completely sure. But like I said its getting up there in miles anyhow. Just looking for any advice or tricks how to do it best.

No problem if you use Motorcraft. Change the plug boots also.

Just finished changing the plugs in my 2009. Not a hard job. The plugs are one piece and won't break. The torque is 9-11# and is written on the box the plugs come in.The plug gap is set and not adjustable.
