Hey all! I found this 56 COE in a pasture in northwestern Kansas, could not live without it! Unfortunately I'm sure they are quite rare. Is grill the same as a 56 F100? I could use a nice drivers door too.
heh. I chased that truck several years ago thru a broker.
we couldn't come to a deal. It is a nice truck, I have a slew of pics of it.
a whole lot better than a lot of trucks I considered and probably better than the one I ended up with.
Congratulations and welcome to the COE crew.

yep... I just went back thru my pics. It's better than what I'm starting with.
great score!
and yes, grill is same as all the others. as is the lower front fairing (behind the bumper).
doors are same except for the radius for the fender, so patch panels should be relatively easy to modify to repair bottom rust-out.

I'm not sure how long this gentleman had it, but it was very reasonable! I have to buy wheels and pay for transport to Wichita, KS. I'll still be way under what I've seen them advertised for! Thanks for the info Vintage 56!
