steering box
What steering boxes will work on our f-100, I have a 55 and was looking at a couple on e-bay but they are not the same # as mind, I have a 3CC03 and the ones on ebay are 3CC31 and a 3CC7 will any of them work on my truck

1948/56 truck catalog does not have steering gearbox housing casting numbers listed, but the 1957 and later catalogs do. The only thing I can tell you is, these numbers are not for 1957 and later.
Caveat Emptor ~ Let the buyer beware. Most ebay sellers haven't a single clue what parts fit, even if they're NOS in the box w/a part number marked on it.
What's wrong with your steering gearbox? Parts are available to rebuild it. Buying old used boxes may not be any better than what you have now...could be worse.

The 3CC31 is from a 57-60 f100
A 53-55 F350-f600 box fits well and improves driving, has a different ratio making it easier to steer. I do not know the box casting numbers for these off my head
It is a direct bolt in except for ONE hole will need to be drilled in the frame
