First off I've done a bunch of stuff to this truck its a 94 f150 with 4.9 backed by an e40d. I had a plethora of cel codes replaced leaking capacitors on pcm, bad egr valve, egr tube, (twisted by Po trying to take off), egr position sensor, egr vacuum solenoid, iac valve cleaned first then replaced, tps, removed intake twice (didn't realize egr ports inside were clogged so bad that it looked flush and normal) replace all vacuum hoses, intake gaskets, exhaust gasket, throttle body gasket, side access gasket, plugs, wires, coil, fuel filter twice once before replacing front fuel pump for cross filling issue and it was screaming, replace distributor whole assembly once old one was out as I would spin the shaft it would bind, pcv valve. Sorry for the run on sentence. Now the only code I have left is a 628 tcc code in the koeo. I've been looking in junk yards near me to find a pigtail for the solenoid pack to test the resistance of the tcc solenoid to no luck every time I go they tell me they export these trucks to south America I have not run into any of these body style trucks in south Florida.
I live in ft Lauderdale, and yes there are a bunch of my generation trucks down here so every time I go they ate either stripped to the bone, fubared beyond use or shipped to south America for use down there. They told me that if the truck is in good shape they don't even put it out. And the harness is good, I was looking to find one to test the solenoid with out dropping the pan cost comparison doesn't seem feasible to buy a new connector for testing. I do notice at a cruising speed I think I can feel it locking and unlocking so don't know if it's the converter or the solenoid. Does anyone know what the pins are at the pcm connector to test the tcc solenoid?
