Emergency Gear

Hello everyone. This August I am moving out to Jacksonville, Florida to start my first semester of law school, and I was wondering if there is any kind of emergency gear that I should keep in my Ranger that I would not need here in New Mexico. I have most of the usual things such as jumper cables, flashlight, tools, blanket, etc. Thanks for the help. Thanks for all of the help.

I can't think of anything else, just be prepared to head out if we get unlucky enough to have a hurricane head this way. I probably would keep a jug of water in there to just to be on the safe side.

Umbrellas and a few 5 gal gas cans you can fill up to bug out to avoid stopping for gas too often.

A weather alert radio helps for tornado or strong storm alert when sleeping

Also a cooler in the bed full of Budweiser for those emergencies when the "great emergency management agency" decides what is in your best interest does not include alcoholic beverages" After all, everybody knows our government knows what is best.
