Don't know if this is related but after I did the blue spring yesterday I noticed today my volts lower at start than before and take a bit longer to get up on volts when on the way? My batteries about to die?
Gotcha. Seems fine now and I was probably just a little jumpy after doing some work and something seemed different. I did figure out what is different---I am not hearing the buzzing now when I turn the key on--koeo? I assume that is the buzz test? Engine starts and runs fine and the only thing I have done was an oil change and blue spring update.
Let the truck settle and cool off and KOEO again, could be that you started right after a shut down and the system was already primed before you could hear it

could be it--new oil change went to T6 5W40 and it's in the high eighties low nineties here--maybe the system is working better now?
Not sure oil weight or mileage on it has anything to do with it, that would be news to me. Fuel system should buzz/prime on every KO until primed 100%, whether or not it holds its pressure for a certain amount of time after shut down i don't know.
KDAVID1: The bluespring and low volts are unrelated. You never did answer the "how low" question on your volts?
It definately is one of those things we want to stay on top of: battery health, Alternator output, FICM voltage all add into the: how long my injectors live equation (well and there's other stuff too ), but going to 5w 40 synth is a good thing...
Perhaps I need a flash? I do not, nor have ever had, the injector buzz flash. I don't think it was standard issue when my truck was mfd
I think before I paid Ford to update my FICM flash version I'd look into some other options of maybe having the FICM gone thru plus latest flash plus maybe the PHP Eco tune. My $.02 worth...

sorry--saw 10.5 first thing this morning when starting. ficm stayed steady 47.5 when starting. volts starting the rest of the day were above 12 and above 13 to 14.5 while driving.
it was just odd not to hear the injector buzz.

You are heading in the right direction -- any idea how old the batts are? The Alt volts sound good...
