1979 f250 with a 400 and c6 lariat. I picked this gem up in Wyoming and drove it 4 hours home. Currently been fixing alot of no brainers. For instance driver side door pins need replace but instead of spend 20 buck then just kept slamming it till the door panel broke. ( looking for a green door panel), also is it normal for a f250 to have a 8400 gvw? My last f250 was only 7400 or something. I'll try to get more photos

8400 sounds normal with a std cab longbox, d60 front and rear with a 400.

I knew Dana 60 should be that high, but in pretty sure I don't have a Dana 60 front or I need better info on how to tell if I do. I was told if the axel cover was a 3/4 bolt it was a 60.
