Here's the situation...bought my 94 f150xlt, 5L w/ 70K 3 years ago. Now 112K. Know that it came from a guy in PA (bad winters) The original undercoating is gone, body panels are fine, the problem areas are the front/rear frame mounts as well as parts of the frame. Pitted, rusting. Have been told I will need to remove to bare metal then undercoat. Do any of you have suggestions?? Has anyone used Exrust from Kano Labs?
Thanks for your help
If you under coat you will have to do it about every year, also you don’t need to get it to bare metal just get the loose stuff off.
Another option is to use this stuff called POR15, it’s a coating you paint right over rust and stays there FOREVER, never need to reapply it.
Also there is stuff called bill Hirsch miracle paint, almost the same thing as POR15.
