Not sure what your looking at but the only thing I see that the op has said is 7x15 he still has not said the height of the rear tires.
Old tires that use that measurement had a circle cross section, the width and the sidewall are the same measurement, depending if it's a .80 or 1.00 aspect ratio.
Example, a 7.00-15 tire would have a width of roughly 7 inches, and a sidewall measurement of roughly 7 inches.
I'll take a guess that the OP's tires are roughly 29" tall, and probably bias ply tires.
I'm not sure what is meant by it walks but I but on a brand new set of Genaral ac grabbers and the first 30 or so miles felt like I was on ice and the truck would want to dart around. I'm not sure if some tires need to break in or something.
When i bought my truck a year ago, the PO stated that it sat for about 10 years from his PO. I drove it for a few months, and ended up throwing about a 12" piece of tread off on the freeway because of dry rot.
Maybe you have same issues going on
Finally found someone who runs similar tires I do said his does the same just not as bad. I'm going to do some playing around and see if rims help get another balance and widening the rear stance. Can't hurt worst case ill do more research before I buy next time. Thanks for the help.
ok so just my 2 cents
Dulles are on the rear of vehicles so you steer with the skinny front
so just in concept skinny on rear would make for more rear steering
also i just switched my rears for larger muds aprox 2.5 inches wider and i no longer hop over the deep man holes they refuse to fix near me
If you drive on paved roads, store your vintage truck in the winter, why buy the
wide tires with the aggressive tread? Leave that to the dudes that live out in the
country where the roads are not paved. (235-75RX15 white stripe)
I work in the tire industry and you should not mix radial and bias ply tires. I don't know the science behind it but do know that it causes vehicle wandering. The 7.00-15 would be a bias ply construction. Try two more radial tire and see if it helps.
