USAA Insurance

Hi. anyone have USAA.. I'm able to get it through my father. Seen some bad reviews online so trying to find some people who have it to give me an honest opinion. I've had State Farm for 20+ years and been very happy but if USAA comes in alot cheaper is there service as good. My father had Allstate and just got a quote from USAA for almost half what he was paying..Thanks

I've had USAA for about 6-7 years. I only use them for insurance (no banking) and they've been amazing. A few weeks ago I applied for an auto loan on my phone, was instantly approved, and was able to buy my 04 Ex (credit unions wouldn't fund the loan, b/c of year and miles..... and I despise jpmorgan) with incredible ease.

Anyway, I am happy to have usaa and every time I tweak my policy I am relieved at how pleasant the experience is..

I have USAA for all my insurance needs except my motorcycles. That includes home, rental homes, and auto. For me, they have had very good service. They have always been very close to every quote I ever get from a competitor so I stay with them. Their rates aren't cheap but for me, I like having all my banking, investments and insurance stuff at the same place. I go to the mobile app and open a loan, trade stock, get a quote, move money around...it's nice. That's where they shine, IMHO.

I wouldn't recommend anyone jumping ship from one company to another unless there's good reason. For me, a few bucks isn't one of them - a relationship is. Do you bank with USAA? If not, I would probably stay put.

Thanks for the info. I currently do not use USAA for anything. My father just switched to them making me eligible too. He saved almost half from what he was paying with Allstate. I have State Farm and been happy with them for the past 20+ years but if I can save a few hundred dollars I would consider switching if they are a good company to deal with. I'm going to call Monday for some quotes for our 3 cars and home to see what they offer.

Thanks

I use USAA for everything. They have amazing customer service, and will bend over backwards to help when/if you need to do a claim. There is a reason they have the highest customer satisfaction out of all the agencies/banks out there. You can't go wrong with them.

I use USAA for all my vehicles... Have for years. I work for another insurance company (a big one) and insure my home with my company, but keep the vehicles with USAA because of the reputation they have even within the industry. They are not the cheapest, but service has been excellent in the past. Though, I will admit, USAA has been moving more towards automated phone systems, which is irritating when all you want to do is talk to a live person.

I am a 50+ year customer of USAA. Everything I own is through them. They are rated the best!! Not the cheapest in all areas but service is definitely unbeatable. My son works for another ins co but he has his autos through USAA. You couldn't pay me to change!!!

Thanks for all the feedback. Going to call tomorrow for a quote then decide if I'm going to switch or not. I feel more comfortable about them now after hearing all your positive comments. Thanks again

I have had USAA for years covering cars and residences in five different states. I have found them consistent, dependable and reasonably priced. On occasion I have used their buying service and brokerage services as well.

I would never switch.
