I'm getting ready to put the walrus up for sale and I'm curious what y'all think she's worth. 92 F250 7.3 4x4 365,000 on the clock. rebuilt E4od put in about 4000 miles ago, lots of new parts and she runs like a champ, so what's fair mkt value?

Hi-Jack....what ya think about an 85 F250 4x4 6.9l 4 speed. 298,000k on the clock. not looking to sell it but nada states around $3600 with the factory A/C.
those are some high mile trucks guys.they will no doubt hold much higher self value than they have in resale (both mine sure do.)
did you both see the "how much did you pay for your idi truck" thread? that may be helpful.
86f350, she's a 29 yr old w/ a quarter mill + on the clock.i think the book is being a bit too kind towards her.sorry.
86, No offense, but both here in Colorado, and in California, that truck would need a glove box full of gold bars to be worth that much. I would put it at around 2200 tops if it is in good shape. Body damage and rust will bring you down to the 1500 to 1800 range.
Diesel Chef, Most people don't know enough about these trucks to make the "new parts" valuable. The OBS body style holds value a little better. No turbo kills you though. I would say the high end of Genscripters valuation is obtainable if you have receipts to back up that tranny rebuild, and perhaps a warranty!?!
My valuation was a truck in perfect condition. Dents, dings, rust, etc will bring it down substantially. I figured Florida would be a place with less rust.
BTW, neither of you stated if it was a single or super cab, so we assume it is a single. Chef, if it is the super cab in your sig, that will help value, but 3k is still optimistic.
86, single cabs are less valuable. Pictures would help us out.
Hey Chef, Is it an optical illusion or is that a split rear window on your truck? That would mean someone modded the truck, because the 92 has a single rear window.

yea that's my truck in my avatar, she's a supercab xlt power everything and there is even a 1 1/2" steel plate set-up for a fifth wheel already welded into the frame. no split window, I think you're seeing the pillar for the vent window.
Guys I was just kinda going for a laugh. I know my truck isn't worth the figure I posted above but she's worth a lot to me being my baby lol! It is a supercab but I don't plan on getting rid of her anyways. Thx for the input though y'all. I'm sure the OP appreciates it
