So after a 1.5 years of collecting parts to do my X/B swap with F350 blocks. I took the rear springs apart and clean and paint them since they were used and had 100K miles or so. The front X codes were new take outs with maybe 5K miles. The rear had Rancho RS60642 2-3" long add a leafs in them already. So I put Tuff country 1.5" add a leafs in the front. New Bilstein 5100's all the way around. Before install 38.5" front and 39.5" rear from ground to wheel lip. After swap fronts 42.5" and rear 45.5". I ended up getting Cutthroat 4x4 2" front shackles to give me a 1" rake. I just need to save money for new rims and tires thinking either 37.5"x12.5x16.5" military or 37"x12.5x17 Toyo M/T's. All I can say is it rides 100 times better and not rough at all in my eyes. Even my wife says it rides alot better. Only problem is she is 5'3" so I have to figure out different step bars.
Thank you for compliment, here is the part number for Tuff Country add a leafs TCS-82111. I called Tuff country and they do work for this application before I bought them.
Before install 38.5" front and 39.5" rear from ground to wheel lip.
Randy, the rig looks great!
Just a word of advice bud, never ever measure from the ground to the fender lip. Always measure from the center of the wheel hub to the fender lip. That way it won't matter how big the tires and wheels are on an Ex, they will never affect the actual lift measurement.
Stock tires versus a set of 37's, the measurement from hub center to fender lip will never change. But it will if you're measuring from the ground to the fender lip.
Thanks everyone. I really like the way it rides and looks now. I never measured from hub to fender lip. I really don't mind the way it looks with the 285/75R16's right now, but think some 37's would really make it look that much better. Any suggestions for steps or tube bars that are lower for my wife. I been thinking of just building some step bars/rock sliders.
Hey Randy, thanks for posting. Looks great! I just picked up some S code rears (basically the same as B codes) with F350 blocks and V code fronts. The Tuff Country Suspension 82111 you got for the front - that worked ok even though it's spec'd for an earlier F series? And you added 2" shackles to get a slight rake in the front? I'm not sure what I'm going to have to do in the front with V codes to get close to level with the modded as codes and F350 blocks.
I actually called Tuff Country before I purchased the add a leafs for the front and they said they would work and they did. I went with them because my rears had the Rancho 2-3" long add a leafs. I also cut new spacers for the rear springs that are the same thickness of the factory EX springs. I did that so I could just install the springs right away once old ones where out. I recommend having someone help you with the rear springs they are a pain to wrestle in by your self, just ask me how I know.

Thank you everyone, I really like it a lot. I can't help but every time I look at or drive my EX. I think the rack looks better now that it sits up where it should. Now just need to save some pennies for new rims and tires.
