HELP PLEASE
i'm trying to value some parts. I have a 1975 F100 Ranger with a 390 FE and C6 auto. Truck has 28,000 original miles. I would like to know what the engine is worth ( needs valve seals, but rear main is dry ) …what the trans. is worth, and what the diff. ( non posi ) is worth. The body is a rust bucket except the cab … ( floors and turrets are rust free and very sound, and everything works in the cab ) Engine runs excellent, as does the trans. and diff. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your answers and opinions. Just don't have time to re-store, and have found an '86 150 i really want thats mint.

…i'll have to check the code, but they feel like standard ratios on the road. I have lot's of pictures of the truck, but think i'm not allowed to put them up because i'm not a paying member ?? …i think that's how it works,i can send them to your email if your interested. Truck is in climax sk, just across the Montana boarder

…thanks red, thats a great help. Wondering if you can put auto tranny fluid in your oil to swell up the valve stem seals ? …i've heard of this being done, and if so, how much do you think to put in ?. Also what do you think of lucas oil fortifier, it says it stops leaks..will it swell them up too ? I really need this truck for work right now, but don't want to drive risking an oil fire from it leaking through the exhaust valve and running down the exhaust pipe, it's sat for a year, maybe these remedies with daily driving will swell them back up ?…..thanks again…greatly appreciated…. i'm going to amend my ad so it's accurate to this problem now too…
thanks again
thanks again
