Yeah a might bit far to ship a simple bench seat like that. Good info in this thread though. Depending on if I decide to keep this particular truck for a while or if I plan on cleaning it up and flipping it this fall will decide what I do with the rear seat.
What I might do is pull the rear seat and build a custom storage box for the back to put stuff in so they don't go rolling around and in the other half of the rear area put in a box for my 2x12" subs I have from my now long gone 86 Stang.
OK Guys! I had my buddy go down to the local boat launch to take some measurements of the type of seat he wanted. Most of the people were happy to oblige, while setting up or just showing their stuff off. He had a great time and found the perfect seat. And they're still living happily ever after.....
