What is the mpg of the 2.7???
#76
Why? EPA ratings are a shot in the dark compared to real life mpg anyway. If you really have enough money to buy a new truck and some random mpg numbers are gonna make all the difference, go buy a 2014, or a Dodge or Chevy if you can't deal with the suspense.
As I believe I said in an earlier post, mfrs. have to do final programming for shift points, fuel mixture, etc. And then pass smog certifications. And then run the CAFE cycles when they are happy with performance in all load and weather conditions. These don't have to be final until the day they start shipping the vehicles. I know test engineers at all of the big 3 who drive around in vehicle with camo wraps and all kinds of fun gauges on them testing calibrations. What do you not get about this?
I bet you had a hard time waiting for Santa Claus to come when you were a kid...

Me too! I keep asking for a BOSS 302 Mustang or C7 Corvette. Unfortunately, having raised a child, I remember who it was that got the charge card bills for all of Santa's cool gifts...
