Will not start
I need help, my 2001 F250 will not start on hot days. it cranks over but wont fire off, took it to the dealer but no codes and it started for them. Has anyone had this problem before?

Will not start
The next time it fails to start hold the accelerator pedal down slightly. If the truck runs you have a bad IAC (idle air control) valve. Go to the superduty forum FAQ section under engine and see the article on IAC problems. I will say in most cases the IAC's cause the problem on the first start of the day, but they have been known to be intermitant.
