Another crossflow question

Hello, I recently replace my front fuel pump after replacing the rear fuel pump and tank last spring. I am still having a bad problem with my rear pump cross flowing into my front tank. also my rear pump is running the whole time. I am looking at installing inline check valves. Any ideas?

It is a 91 ford f150 with a 300... I replace the entire assemblies of the module. It has the recall check valves from the old assemblies on there.

You should not need the recall check valve and I would leave them off.
I heard about one brand that left the shuttle valve out of the FDM and they work OK for one tank but not for two tanks.

Check valve do not fix the cross flow problem if you have no shuttle valves or bad shuttle valves.

Isn't the shuttle valves made into the hangers? That the reason I replace my front pump.

Anyway to fix this without replacing the fdm? What will cause my pump to run continuously and be loud? The only codes I am getting is 327, 328, and 332

If your pump is running continuously with the engine not running and the key on you may have a bad computer.

crossflow problem

Newbie here.
I'm having the same prob. with my newly acquired f350;460;7.5.
My rear is sending fuel to my front tank.
Also having sending unit problem with front.(always reading full).
I heard you can put an inline external check valve in the rear tank to solve this?
I love this truck. It only has 87,000 on her. And she is an "ox".
I pull my fith with her, and my horses as well.
Although she drinks alot, she's a brute.
I will persue this relentlessly. Both pumps work fine. Just when I put gas in the rear and switch to rear, I can almost see the gas running out(and to the front tank)
I'm very grateful for any help with this.

No that would not help you at all.
Maybe a check valve on the front may if the front has a bad check valve but if the front has a bad shuttle valve it will not help at all.

What you need is a new front FDM. It has the valves in it.
Note some auto part stores call the FDM a fuel pump.
