Help identify this bracket (pic inside) - 08 Reg Cab
Hey guys! I am a proud new owner of a 08 F250 XLT Regular Cab 4x4 5.4. The truck has small aftermarket stuff throughout which I have been mostly been able to identify, but the rear firewall in the cab has got me puzzled.
There is obviously a plastic trim piece or two missing since the carpet/insulation is just hanging but I cant figure out what this metal bracket is for. It's off center behind the drivers seat and comes up above the glass line. It's got fomoco stamped on it and the spot welds seem factory. At first I thought it was a jack mount but that's in the normal location behind the seat. Here is a pic:
Can anyone help explain what this is? I kinda want to mount a emergency shovel to it or something but would like to know what its for.
