Mini GTG at Woody's

Mini GTG at Woody's
Hey guys, Ted(twg1966), Mike(Nicmike) and myself were planning on getting together at my shop and rebuilding the front suspensions on our trucks. No weekend has been officially picked, but it should be within the next few weekends. You guys are invited to come out and help, hangout, or work on your trucks too. I'm not really wanting people to stay over night unless they have to and that's why it's a mini GTG. That and I don't really have the room for campers and such. What I do have though is a 4 post lift, access to an air compressor and 220 if you needed any welding done. I run a small salvage yard operation out of my shop, so we should be able to tackle anything you need to do. That being said, there are many half parted vehicles on my property and it's not very kid friendly. If you're interested, text me at 512-925-9171 for directions.

Let me know an exact weekend. I hate that I missed the last one but hopefully I'll make this one.
I've got quite a list
Adjust front bumper
Install spare tire carrier
Install cab lights
Install rear trailer light plug
Install gooseneck safety chain rings
Replace tie rod ends
Replace pitman arm
Install amber grill lights
Install side steps
Replace front seat
Install headache rack
Replace sand blasted windows
Replace fuel tank sending unit
Bleed brakes

San Angelo. Id like to come down to bastrop but thar is a good bit of a drive for just one thing. I think Id rather collrct several parts so I can do it all at once so I dont spend so much in fuel. Not to mention meeting some other members and having some extra help would be great. Thanks for the offer though!

this sounds like a good idea. i need to have my inner differential seals done on my front axle. it's tat dang 4wd. also, i may decide to upgrade to a larger front differential cover. i'm gonna try to make this, but i'm not sure where i stand yet on getting parts and stuff. i just spent $3400 to replace the entire rear end and drive shaft.

Dom, those seals should only be a few $$ and there's a billion covers to choose from for the Dana 60. Because the dana 60 is so popular, covers are real cheap too. I'm guessing you're not doing any real hard core offroading so you really don't need anything super heavy duty. I'd go aluminum for your truck. $100-200 range for aluminum.
