On the red truck in the picture he centered the wheel well and ended up with a 2 inch gap between bed and cab which is quite noticable, I think it would look better if you just split the difference and left a 1 inch gap between bed and cab and had the wheels 1 inch off center.

So your truck was stolen from you and someone did a body swap on it??? Strange

The Cab is a direct swap. The bed is where you will find issues. On the 1977.5 F250 the rear of the frame is wider than the 1969 is. You have to drill new mounting holes in the bed floor. This swap has been done several times and shouldn't be a huge undertaking if you have some mechanical skills.

Friend of mine does this all the time, he just moves the rear axle to the 131 inch wheel base. When its done right, you cant even tell.
