Looking to upgrade the lights on my super duty. Truck is an all black 14' F250 Crew Lariat. Likely going to change the clearance lights on top, headlights and tail lights. Im looking for more of a smoked look to go with the black. Figured I would get your opinions from those who have done similar. I have been looking at the RECON headlights but not sure if there are other that are a better buy or what?? Thanks for the help!

Maybe just throw in a pair of harley headlights? For the tail lights you could smoke them yourself with VHT nightshades or pickup a set already smoked on ebay. Cab lights and mirror lights you can also use VHT or go with Recon replacements.
I just put Recon smoked clearance lights on. Nice quality and they fit and look great. Came with amber 194 bulbs, but I put in some $5.99 amber LED's from superbrightled.com and they look better.
I've read nothing but bad stuff about aftermarket headlights- the quality isn't there. I'd stick with OEM Ford- I like the Harley idea mentioned above.
I bought some recons and was disappointed in fit and finish as well as performance. 1 bolt hole on each light didn't line up. I think the lights may be dimmer that stock as well. They sure look good though.
Recon smoked clearance lights for me. Have used recon stuff on a couple vehicles but haven't heard great things about any aftermarket headlight. The recon tails and 3rd should be fine though.
laxinfish29 wow nice truck, i did order the mirror and the marker lights this week, ordered the led bulbs from a difference source just could not pay what recon is asking for there bulbs for the markers,
here is my truck unmolested....... i bought a 2010 f250 Lariat with 19,700 mile on it got the 5.4 in it but but for my uses towing under 10k couple of times a year is great, and the gas mileage is not bad either (13 to 14 combined ). going to tint the side and do the eyebrow today with 20%
